I like dumb comedies but they have to have a variety of jokes. Even Billy Madison, Dumb and Dumber or Ace Ventura had different types of jokes that went from completely stupid to "not quite smart but kind of clever". Even a stoner comedy like 'Harold and Kumar go to white castle' had poop jokes but also had race humor that while not subtle was still clever at points.
There isn't one successful formula for these films but the classics usually have a broad range of comedy styles. Bio-Dome had the physical comedy element and that was it. I mean it was a vehicle for Pauly Shore to make funny voices and jump around but it just didn't have anything else. I understand someone enjoying this but I honestly can't find anything remotely redeemable in this film. If you are looking for a film that is pretty much a monkey jumping around making noises you will enjoy this film very much. Or if you are just in the mood for some 90s nostalgia.even then you should just stick to Encino Man.

It's just not up to your highly sophisticated standards. Go watch a Frasier instead.

That is supposed to be a laughy face, not a question mark.
