<p dir="auto">Has anyone ever seen or heard of the film's earlier scripts? I know of one from 1994 that's supposedly more true to the novelization than the film is.<br />

<p dir="auto">Yeah. As the novelization is based on Charles Pogue's early screenplay for the film, it's easy to see how faithful DragonHeart would have been to his original treatment with a higher budget, if technology back then had allowed Draco to have more screentime, and if Universal and Rob Cohen hadn't interfered and changed things. Especially when looking at the set listing and the brief scene descriptions in the principal photography schedule image.</p>
