I'm 19, growing up, before DVD's kickedwe had a bunch of movies on VHS, but there were a handful I always watched.
Terminator 2
Jurassic Park
Star Wars
Robocop
Dragonheart
I loved this movie, I consider it an un-appreciated classic. I always got sad at the end of the movie.

I tried not to, but I had to make a choice. There was such a muscle convulsion between my shoulders and thighs that I had to choose between crying or throwing up. I don't think this has ever happened to me before. A very enthralling and draining experience.
The movie had so much joyful comedy that the ending just kinda broke yer heart, ya know? So I cried it out.
And then, my mind pictured, just for a few moments, Sean Connery going to the stars, and I completely lost all my composure and bawled my eyes out. Peter O'Toole was hard enough, but Sean? Dang.
What an interesting generation we are.

This has to be one of the biggest contrasts between the quality of an overall movie and the ending in history. The movie itself is just mediocre but the ending is beautiful. The combination of Edelman's score (how was it not nominated for an Oscar?) and Draco becoming part of the constellation that shares his name makes me cry every time. It's up there with ET, Edward Scissorhands and Iron Giant as far as tear jerking endings go.
