The ending resembled the ending of Terminator 2: Judgment Day (in terms of the fate of the main character in the movie and the relationship of that character to another main character).

That sucks about the electricity going out. I don't know how far you got, but here is the ending:

SPOILER*************************

Draco is captured by some of the dragon hunters at the king's castle. He is chained in the ground there, and order not to be killed by the king (since the king and the dragon's heart are linked, if one dies, the other dies). In short, the rebellion comes to overthrow the king, and learn the truth about the connection between Draco and the king. The king cannot take any physical wounds. Draco takes the wounds, they both feel the pain. Bowen has to kill Draco to kill the king, and regretfully he does. After they're both dead, Draco turns into dust and the dust heads two the stars (where the Dragon heaven is), and everyone is happy.

I've only seen it once. I think I got everything right for paraphrasing it. If I didn't, anyone feel free to correct me. It was an excellent movie!
