This might have been asked before but what was the point of the Yanagita subplot?
Only thing I can think of is when Marge finds out that Yanagita is lying and actually lives with his parents, this is when she gets an epiphany that Jerry might be lying too?
I just saw the movie for the 100th somethin' time and I've just always wondered about it.
