Hell yes Geena Davis is badass in this movie. Unlike Angelina Jolie, Davis actually has meat on her bones and doesn't look like a walking skeleton. Total milf.

Personally, I think Geena Davis pulls off the MILF turned bad ass better than Angelina Jolie ever did.
It helps that nearly all her "heroics" are gun play and using her head. It typically goes to crap when they have the 120 pound leading lady kicking the crap out of a bunch of 220 pound men. They largely avoid that in this movie.
Best line easily-
After they fall from the building and Geena shoots out the ice, they emerge from the water and she has lost her memory again.
Geena- What just happened?

Yeah I love that part. Davis and Jackson have an awesome chemistry in this film. I especially like the part where one of the hitmen has Charly in a alleyway with a gun to her head, then when Mitch tries to save her, the two start bickering like the hitman isn't even there:
Charly: Are you always this stupid or did you take lessons?
Mitch: I TOOK LESSONS!
Hitman: HEY!
Charly & Mitch: WHAT?!
Me: XD

Agreed 100% GD is a fantastic actress, but what makes this movie work is the humor in itin the same way that one could laugh at Thelma.if that makes any sense.for example the look she gives SLJ after he says, "Yessum Miss DaisyI be honkin!!" The look alone makes me laugh.Love her

To the list of those movies I would have to add Colombiana and Salt, they both have "badass" female leads that are very unconvincing, Geena kicks ass here

I disagree. I usuall hate movies where they try to pass off a woman as badass and it fails miserably (Resident Evil movies, Tomb Raider movies, Dawn of the Dead remake, etc). But this movie is one of the rare occasions where it works. Geena Davis pulls off all the action and tough gal lines really convincingly IMO. Okay, it comes off as a little awkward towards the beginning when she's Samantha, but I think that was intentional.

She was AWESOME in here, truly badass. She was really cool in Thelma & Louise too. But if you didn't like her in those movies, watch that show where she was president or the Stuart Little movies.

1st off, i dont agree at all. if you want to see her play a nice character watch stuart little. this movie is the beep i was so surprised and now am in love with geena.
