Every time I see this movie I think this is where they got the idea for the Bourne Identity, right?<br />
Obviously they changed everything up, but the guts are all there.</p>

<p dir="auto">there was a tv show in the 60`s "Coronet Blue". it was about a guy with amnesia that people were trying to kill. Turns out he was a spy. I always figured that was where Ludlum got the idea.<br />

The Long Kiss Goodnight came out in 1996.<br />
The Bourne Identity came out in 2002.<br />

<p dir="auto">Its just Jason Bourne filtered through Shane Black where he took the story of a spy with amnesia and set it around christmas as he does with most of his films. The biggest difference is that the protagonist is a woman. This film rocks and so does the Bourne films so nobody can complain.</p>
