I enjoy these movies. They are entertaining. They are legit slashers that makes fun of slashers, which is impressive considering the guy who made them also made the kinds of movies he was making fun of.
But in every damn one, the killers go full retard once they reveal who they are. IT borders on ruining the movies.

Yeah, they reveal their true nature. They’ve got Sidney cornered, her dad bound and gagged, everyone else is dead (they think) so it’s mask-off time, they reveal their true monstrous form and gloat over the kills they’ve done and the kills yet to come.
What do the neighbours always say about serial killers? ‘They seemed so normal.’ That’s what makes them such effective predators.
