<p dir="auto">there's a reason why he was in so many big, hollywood movies and had big roles in these movies in the '80s and '90s because he's a great and versatile actor who can transform himself into whatever character he plays in not matter what genre of movie. he's like a chameleon.<br />

<p dir="auto">it's not right, accurate to say kevin bacon surpasses or is better than robert de niro in this film because kevin bacon's role was a more exciting, and flashy role than robert de niro's role so of course it seems like he gives a better performance than robert but he doesn't.<br />
they are equally great in this film. robert's role was laid back and not excitable like kevin bacon's role.<br />
me too, i can't think of a better performance from kevin at the moment than this performance. maybe, his performance in the murder in the first?<br />
