Eli went to war, came back, and his father threw him out (why?)
then the only place he had to go was in the forest? Why?
Why didnt he come back when his father died?

I would not imply you are stupid or naive. It's just that the movie has a very adult theme and since you are only 15 I can't justify telling you to watch it. That is between you and your parents. Talk with them about it would be my advice.
Not much information on her new movie as it is still being filmed. Oh yeah, she is in the BBC production of the Buccaneers also. She was much younger, I have not seen this yet as I am waiting for it to come out on dvd. Seems it is very well liked and popular.
Wyatt Earp is one of my fave movies and she just happens to play Lou, Morgan Earps wife.

With you being only 15, I think you should wait on this one.
She was good in The Miracle Worker, the one about Helen Keller. Trust me you won't know it's her Good in Song of the Lark, but it's hard to find. Only on vhs.
In 2003 she was on an episode of ER, very very good and sad.
And hopefully the one she is filming now will be good.

It's based on the novel by Henry James. Set back in the 1920's, I'll double check that date to be sure though.
I have no idea how old you are, but it's rated R because of the scenes at the end of the movie. Helena Bonham Carter is in her birthday suit with her guy. She did get nominated for an Oscar for her role. And Alison was nominated for a SAG award as best supporting actress.

Yeah, I was gonna say that it would be strange seeing someone rather than Alison play Percy. She is a very underrated actress. But the good news is, she is finally filming a new movie.
Did you see her in Wings of the Dove? She was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

I would love to see the musical someday. Which one did you like the most and why?
For me, after watching the movie so many times and seeing Percy die, maybe it would be refreshing to see her not die!

No, this was never clearly stated in the movie. It's left for us to speculate actually. I mean he could have, but as far as his father throwing him out.. I don't think Hannah ever would have allowed that.

You need to listen to Shelbys story again. She really did not have all the facts herself.
He went to war and supposedly never came back. This in turn broke his dads heart and he died. He was shellshocked from the war and lived in the woods, and only his mom knew he really came back. Hence, giving him food everyday. This is why she wanted to sell the Grill to use the money to get help for him.
This should clear things up for you.
