<p dir="auto">A bit late, but if you're still wondering it probably has something to do with his Twilight Zone movie fiasco. Multiple actors died during a stunt (including two children) while under his direction. He came under a lot of fire for that, but didn't get any criminal charges, although his directing career certainly took a noticeable shift.</p>
