I have watched all of Season 1 about 4 times. LoL, I know buy another season. And I have watched episodes here and there. But I just watched one where Maya and Elliot start dating. So do they stay together or do they break up?

I'm glad they broke up. Never cared much for the couple to begin with. I always thought Maya deserved better than some guy who thinks he's god's gift to women and is always chasing after the woman with the shortest skirt. Seems to me that Elliot was exactly the kind of man that Maya should be opposed to given her feminist leanings. They just didn't make sense as a couple, IMHO.

I think people wanted them to get back together, at least in the last season. I think, if they didn't end it where they did, they would have found their way back to each other. Their break-up ruined the show for me.

Elliot proposed to Maya, she said yes, but then Elliot had a panic attack. So, Maya gave him the ring back. Then he proposed again, she said yes again, and he had a panic attackagain. Maya decided that Elliot wasn't ready for marriage or committment, and they broke up.
