Did the Movie hint at the fact that any of the Slaves were Muslim? Because approximately 10%-20% of the Slaves taken to the Americas were in fact Muslim (including Kunta Kinte -Alex Haley's ancestor). Read this book "Servants of Allah" by Silviane Diouf. Although it's Wikipedia, Wikipedia says Cinque was Muslim.

yeah infact move hinted abt itthere was a scene showing some of prisoners onboard praying Salat
