In the scene where Jackson tells Helen what happens to his father, is that a wig that Gwyneth Paltrow is wearing? It looks horrible whatever it is.
Still like the movie though..

That's the first thing,that looked horrendous and seemed out of place.I looked at GP's face and wondered if she knew and agreed to that wig. I saw a smirk on her face ,suggesting that she has deliberately worn that wig,to annoy and piss off probably The Director. She can't be that naive and stupid.

Yesthe hair was beyond fake.it had to be. I JUST saw that scene watching the film now.and was wondering the same thing. I rarely watch GP films, because she is BEYOND annoying to watch and listen toher NASAL and buck-toothed speech pattern are too IRRITATING to listen to.

Just watched a YouTube of that speech, thoughCouldn't watch the whole thing. Too awful. It's a pity life doesn't come with a "re-do" switch!

Have to agree with you. Just HOW did she become famous?. I always thought she was overated and not really very glamerous. I read this morning she is voted as number one in the 'most embarassing Oscar speeches of all time', a title she completely deserves. Anyway, she's had her time and is well past her 'sell by date'. Long may she remain forgotten!!!.
