Surely you must have noticed her lace-front blonde wig through the movie. I thought it became a bit distracting especially in the scenes where she is giving birth and shortly after. This is the same kind of wig Beyonce wears and made popular among young girls today. In the past they were usually just used for broadway and other theater.

<< That bothered me more, the no baby bump. >>
I noticed it disappeared when she's walking with her husband in town, wearing the black dress. Is this the scene being discussed?
Black is a slimming color..but.

According to IMDB, this movie was filmed at the beginning of '96. Gwyneth didn't cut her hair short until almost a year later. I don't think she wore a wig from start to finish, but for sure at the end. That was her real hair while giving birth, but the fake hair starts from when Martha sticks Helen with the needle to the end of the movie. It makes me wonder if they had a whole other ending that didn't test well with audiences and so they had to re-shot the entire ending.
I didn't think the fake hair was all that bad in the few scenes I noticed the hair (drinking hot chocolate after the bath, giving Alice the fetus picture and the ending). The only time it was god awful was the park scene. WHO put her in that wig with the white ashy roots and thought it looked good? They must have shot that scene months after they were done with the movie because I noticed someone forgot to put a baby bump in the scene! Did no one look at the few scenes before the park scene, you know, when she had a very noticeable baby bump and now in the park, she looks anorexic and in really baggy clothing.
That bothered me more, the no baby bump. Plus the really bad pictures of the fetus in the amnio scene (did anyone die laughing seeing the needle go towards the baby on the ultrasound machine) and the picture Helen gives Alice. Is she pregnant with demon spawn? I've never seen an ultrasound picture that is red, it's usually black and white

lol, I've seen this movie a lot of times but just watched it last week and I finally noticed that! It's def. a wig, which makes sense because around this time she had a bob haircut I believe, so the producers prob. wanted her to have long hair for this movie to I don't know, make her look younger or who knows.
Tyra def. wears a wig like this too, to hide her five head
Keep the change, ya filthy animal.
