Wasn't it so sad when she was running away from the mother while she was in labor,it was also so sad when the mother was talking to her son on the phone and she was screaming. I just found it so disturbing and depressing it made me want to cry my eyes out. Especially when she was giving birth and the baby came out and the mother ran away with it. It's just so depressing.

I would never have just let someone walk off with MY baby. After the baby came outta me I would have picked it up right away.

Yeah it was definitely very suspenseful. I saw it in the theatre when I was 14, and the audience was really unhappy with the movie. People were walking out and saying it was crap. It was my first exposure to Jessica Lange, though, and I loved it.
