have any of you guys read this series of books by terry jones and brian froud based on the cottingley fairies?
i was just wondering if you have and if you know who lady angelica cottingon's real father was?? lame to be asking this here i know, but i dont know any sites with message boards like this one that analyzes books the way this site's message boards analyzes films - where you can go down to the details and get other people's opinions and perspectives in order to understand/appreciate the film more - wish there was though.
since the books are somewhat related to the story from which this film was based, i thought i might give it a shot and ask you guys. i read Lady Cottington's Fairy Album, the 2nd in the series and it seemed from the 2nd book like the 1st book would have more "information" to euphemia's(angelica's mom's) past and who that mysterious man(possibly angelica's real father) she would meet with was/where he was from/if he was human or faery, but when i finally got hold of a copy of the 1st book (Lady Cottington's Pressed Fairy Book) it was all about angelica.or did i miss something while reading?? there was a long gap between the time i read the 2nd and the 1st, maybe i forgot some details in the story perhaps(?) anyway, would really appreciate your help!
~Gotta love that DAMN CANE.~
