I grew up watching Nick though, Salute your Shorts, Kenan and Kel, Rocko's Modern life, etc.

I don't think age has anything to do with liking a movie. Some people like silly movies that are just for fun, but other people don't.
There were plenty of movies like this made in the 80's.

Yes, I was born long before 1985, and this is a good movie, funny script, great acting by Kel Mitchell.

I was born in 1976 and saw the film in the theater.
I had never watched All That but read a funny review of Good Burger on some website when i was in college. At the time it was playing at the $1 theater and me and my friends went to see it like 4 times.
It is the subtext of the film that really makes it funny and re-watchable.
As this reviewer noted: "Although clean as a whistle, Good Burger is what show-biz moralist Bill Cosby should be excoriating, along with booty comedies. Its black characters resolutely carry on the tradition of the minstrel show, under the guise of kid entertainment."

I was born in 1964. My kids watched this movie when they were young in fact, we saw it in the theater! It's one of my favorites (and I am a classic film buff. This is a guilty pleasure).
