I ADORE fairy tales! Even somewhat macabre ones like this, but what Grimm Fairy Tale wasn't grim and gruesome before Disney sugar-coated all of them. The cinematography in this film was gorgeous, casting sensational, and I also loved how they attempted to make a movie that was more faithful to the original, pre-Disney era. They should make more based on the originals, too.

Oh man!! I also looove company of wolves, its not that well known apparently but its one of the best dark fairy tale movies along with this.

Just saw this movie for the first time tonight and enjoyed it. Not perfect, but definatly alot better then i expected.
