I enjoyed this movie but I thought Sandra Bullock was better in The Lake House

A Time to Kill was excellent, but my favorite is While You Were Sleeping. Love Bill Pullman in that too.

The range she displays in this movie is pretty impressive but, for some reason, her performance didn't really work for me. Perhaps it was because there didn't seem to be any chemistry between her and Connick Jr., or that the movie is a bit too slowly paced. Either way, I think she's better in roles in which she plays quirky characters, like Miss Congeniality or Speed. I think my personal fave is her role in A Time to Kill, in which she played the perky legal assistant. She wasn't as big a star then, but she brought a depth and sensitivity to a role that needed careful handling, to effect a chemistry with McConaughy's lawyer, without actually crossing over into a romance. A sign of things to come, perhaps.

I love how she acts this role very good without making big efforts , she just simply did it , it was so real performance . Sure she is beautiful

Yep. That's why she's known as "America's sweetheart." I don't kno why the low ratings. I guess it would be considered a "chick flick", but still. I always loved the movie & have it on dvd. And besides her good acting, Sandra is also very beautiful.
