<p dir="auto">So Jackie calls him up to tell him where he can find Ordell.  Now, it's no surprise how it went down.  But afterwards, Nicolette would ask the obvious question, "Why would Ordell be so interested in meeting you here?"<br />
Is there an obvious answer I'm missing?  An answer which wouldn't cause the ATF to know that Jackie Brown has the money?</p>

<p dir="auto">I think Jackie emotionally manipulated him a bit by thanking him for saving her life. This may have deflected him from the obvious question. Some of the police work in the film was rather slipshod. I think they under-estimated Jackie and over-estimated Ordell.<br />
