<p dir="auto">The score really fell flat for me. I get what they were going for with it but I didn't really like it at all. It is the only thing keeping this movie from being basically perfect for me.<br />
Anybody on here who is a big fan of the score and why?<br />

<p dir="auto">I always hated that just because they had the same composer some considered that both<br />
Chinatown<br />
and<br />
LA Confidential<br />
are classic film scores.<br />
The difference in quality/excellence is colossal-the former is a top 10 all-time great score while the latter is not a top 100 film score.</p>

<p dir="auto">I like the score, it fits the movie perfectly for me. I feel that way about other movies scores though so I know what you mean.</p>

<p dir="auto">I agree with you, I really disliked the score, so much so I had to turn down the volume in parts. I don't remember having to ever do that before!</p>
