I think this movie deserve an improvement of this magnitude.
I searched on the net,and find out that it was released in blu-ray only in germany ,why?
He died so young.
Crazy.It's like God wants to take these guys 'cause they're so good.

It DEFINITELY deserves a Criterion Collection release. I agree with you.
I searched on the net,and find out that it was released in blu-ray only in germany ,why?
I guess people in other countries still consider the movie to be too provocative and scandalous. Which is ridiculous of course.
Anyway the Bluray of the movie is, according to a YouTube reviewer, region-free, so you can watch it in any country. You can get it through Amazon.
