Meet Joe Black is a stone cold modern classic by the writer/director/composer team that brought us the equally brilliant Scent Of A Woman.<br />
Hopkins is on beast mode, he plays brilliantly off Pitt (as they did in Legends Of The Fall) and Forlani is smoking hot.<br />
It’s a supernatural film that uses zero special effects and trusts the audience to read the actors’ emotions and feel what is communicated by the superb performances and music.<br />
It’s a profound film about life and love shown through the prism of death. A Capra-esque classic.</p>

<p dir="auto">Bad acting too. The actor playing Susan looked like an amateur. Don't know how she got cast with those mediocre skills.</p>
