I think Death definitely took advantage of Susan because she was beautiful and he was "enraptured". Susan thought it was "the coffee shop guy" but I believe she was also attracted to that dangerous(powerful?) part of him now and that was the "lightning" her father was talking about.
When she knew who he was she was afraid but who would follow anyone into the afterlife?
She pretty much started with the dullest guy ever -Drew, then met "coffee shop guy" who was definitely more interesting, cuter and fun, an intrigue, then met death who was strong, confident, over powering..
I think when she dies she will meet back up with him, he'll make her young again and they'll be together? I think that's her true love. Not sure how "coffee shop guy" will fit in with that scenario lol since he'll be dead one day too.
