One wonders why you bother to ascertain whether various movies are 'cool' or not if opining that seeing an actress in the nude is a key factor in making a movie better!!

I've been going back and watching many 90's movies lately, just watched this one again, and I can't get over how cool so many of them are. It was just another great decade for movies just like the 80's was. The only thing I didn't like about this movie was we didn't get to see Diane Lane naked, if that would've happened it would have made the movie even better. Lol
I could watch this movie over and over and never get sick of it, kind of funny so many can't just watch it and enjoy it for what it is.

One major plot hole I also consider to be is the President's reaction to the blackmailing of his NSA (played by Alan Alda). The latter presented evidence which accused his son of murdering the girl and then the president just accepted it? Shouldn't his first move would be to confront his son ASAP? And this way he would get at least suspicious and demand further investigation, certainly not accepting his resignation at once!

good movie

It was a really entertaining movie, the acting was great, the ending kinda dragged it down quite a Notch.

Only Diane Lane's gorgeous face & incredible legs could save this yawner !

She was superb in UNFAITHFUL, definitely the best performance of her careershe deserved the nomination, the win is debatable.

She was so good in "UNFAITHFUL". She should have won that Oscar not just got nominated. I liked her in "THE OUTSIDERS"
She was even good in "JUDGE DREDD"!!!

Check out THE OUTSIDERS, THE PERFECT STORM, and THE COTTON CLUB. The only reason you don't notice how bad she is in THE PERFECT STORM is because mary Elizabeth Mastrontonio is so much worse, she makes everyone else in the film look Oscar-worthy.

I must agree that the film definitely is constructed in a way that you never suspect who the killer really is. Snipes gives one of his best performances as does Alan Alda, whose performance is positively chilling.

This was probably done specifically to keep viewers guessing. Of course the second you see Ronny Cox, you think, "Oh! He did it. He was the bad guy in Total Recall and Robocop" You would NEVER think that Hawkeye Pierce is the bad guy. Good casting. Something similar but different was done in "Shoot to Kill". All of the suspects were played by actors who all played bad guys at some point in their careers which kept people guessing.
