In the last shot of the film before Bill and Alice's conversation we see two men look suspiciously out of place and a third long haired man who as they walk away he walks towards Helena as is ushering her away with the two men.
And Alice see's thus and then quickly turns away diverting Bill's attention.
p
All the women Bill encounters are red haired, people took this as an analogy of guiltprojecting Alice who us also fair haired but what if it's his subconscious screaming out the fate of Helena one day,to one day end up like the beauty queen used and abused by the elite.
What if the entire narrative of bill's relationship is another diversion of the extreme darkness underlying the film.
That Helena maybe with or without her parent's knowledge is the real one being groomed by the elite to be sold as a sex slave.

Yea,
Makes sense. Since most things in the movie wont happen in real life.
Without strife, your victory has no meaning.
Without strife, you do not advance.
Without strife, there is only stagnation.

Yes true in real life , but in the movie seamed they were only interested in the elite, and Alice's character seams like she may have been part of it.
It does seam kinda far fetched but something was definitely off at the end that showed some links to the cult in the last scene.

Way far-fetched theory.
Sex slaves are cheaper than going after a healthy family and grooming for ages.
Without strife, your victory has no meaning.
Without strife, you do not advance.
Without strife, there is only stagnation.

Yes I've read other theories on other boards about this too, I never noticed it until they pointed it out but yes after I re-watched the movie a few times I do see that in the last scene of the movie, it looks like Helena wonders off in the toy store-followed by two older men that look similar to the 2 older men who were sitting at a table at the first Christmas party at the begging of the film.
It's hard to say for sure I guess really though, I mean it's possible but I think maybe people are reading too much into it.
On the other hand, I will admit I did find it kinda strange that Alice and Bill weren't watching their daughter at all at the toy store, and there are other signs as well like Helena holding up the Barbie doll (which may symbolize the bodies of the girls in the sex cult)…just before she wonders off, and the fact that they were showing toys with triangles at the toy store… which was also shown at the orgy party…. seams like it maybe they were trying to tell us something? Also, there a few other things seam a bit strange- the fact that Alice wants to take her daughter Christmas shopping with them? Why would Alice want their little girl to shop for her own Christmas presents and to know exactly what she is getting for Christmas? That's quite rare at her young age, isn't it? Like maybe it could means something? Was it a set up to get her daughter in the store to be kidnapped?
However, this theory also does seam a little far fetched that Alice would actually distract her husband on purpose so she could sell her daughter to this cult. I do actually believe that Alice may have been at that party and helped set her husband up that night…. but ya that would definitely make her a monster to sell her own daughter like that!
Either way something sure doesn't add up in my opinion anyway!
