Ive actually always liked the dark, gloomy, Seattle like atmospher, strangely, on 4k it doesnt look so dark, but good and you could tell the movie was ahead of it's kind. All the versions are good, including the vhs. I think they missed out and shouldve continued with this Jurassic, Americanized version. It sold well, and the story was pretty interesting and original. Godzilla isnt that original or cool. It wasnt almost Godzilla but some other cool creature.

I've always liked it and my only complaint is that it's too darkly filmed. But it is the only recently made American Godzilla film I re-watch occasionally.
I have always depended on the kindness of Strangers - and the bastards let me down!
