Sandy's character does somewhat of the same thing. After her husband dies, she cannot bear to get out of bed (understandable). In HF, she does the same thing when her husband leaves her. BOTH times she had kids to care for. It just seems coincidental that in these two movies, released in the same year, she does the same thing, for different reasons. Just an observation.
