Has anyone else noticed this? I'm open to hearing anyone else's explanation for this.
the woman who shows up at the Aunts' house that night for the love spell on the married guy. the one who pierces the breast of the dove with the needle.
she is also present in the circle of women when they're doing the "coven" spell to cast Angelov's spirit out of Gillian!
Her scene early in the movie occurs when Sally and Gillian are little girls (at most maybe ten) and yet when she turns up in the circle later in the movie, when it's probably almost twenty years later, she looks NO OLDER.
In the movie you hear townsfolk speculating that the AUNTS don't age because they are cooking up placentas. but this woman should have gray hair and look much older in the circle scene.
Not even sure why she's in there in the first place! You wouldn't think the Aunts would call up prior customers to fill the circle up, would you?

No, the bird lady is the same woman years later. Sometimes they forget to do what they should in terms of aging people
Spoiler
In the book, the bird lady who wants the love spell at the beginning gets her wish in the book. I believe in the book she has a beautiful singing voice and when the object of her spell starts to return her love it gets out of control (as love spells often do). He becomes obsessed with her and won't leave her alone and he basically drives her over the edge and she loses her beautiful singing voice.

I always thought that the old woman who tells the officer that Sally cooks and sells placentas was the woman who wanted the love spell. 25-30 years had passed since then, and the old woman's husband next to her is in a wheelchair. I figured that was the backfire of her saying she wanted him to "want me so much that he can't stand it," and the stress of getting what she asked for made her age badly.

I think they just missed the part of making her look older cause she was there in the book if I'm not mistaken.

It is probably a screw up. She's just an extra in the movie I guess.
