I'm sure most of it went to paying the actresses and for building the house sets (I was real disappointed to find out that house wasn't real; it looked lovely).

probably the HOUSE they built from the ground up. Shell or not, that obviously would cost a chunk of money. Plus all of the specialized witch stuff they had to make 3 major celebrities' salaries all the crew's salaries it all adds up
