Hes trying to say that he has asked for too much, it sorta feels like he is ordering food. Thats why after he told him what he wants, he responds by saying 'do you want any fries with that?'

Wow, I'm sure he asked "You want any FRIES with that?" like he's taking an order at a burger joint. FIVES never crossed my mind. Even on the DVD, it says FRIES, not FIVES.

Don't care what the captions say on netflix, their religious asses change the captions around all the time (sh!t becomes poop, etc.) meaning that you can't trust the captioners to know the very specifics of the script - ESPECIALLY the punchlines.
Usually these people are sitting in a room only listening to the audio of a particular media they are transcribing. Their mission is to get it done and move on to the next project so they can, ya know, get paid for their efforts. They are not the writers of the particular work in question merely low-level you's and me's trying to make a paycheck.
Can't even believe this is a thread, but more to the point that so many people don't understand the humor of that moment.

he def said fives i'm watching it right now and it really doesn't even sound like fries which makes more sense that he said fives anyway i guess sometimes the caption can be wrong, i sometimes have it on my tv and it leaves some of the words out so i guess it can't understand everything

He said 'fives' in the same way a McD's counter jockey would have said 'fries.'

I can't believe some people actually think he says "Fries".

It could be either "fries" of "fives", but the first time I watched the film I understood "fries", and in my mind it will always be "fries" because it's way funnier.

I heard Fives. however it can be friends due to the fact that there is a popular mockery saying of "you want some fries with that?"

When I first saw this movie, I always thought it was "you want any fries with that?" but, after watching it again, it really sounds like "fives" and your post makes total sense as to why it would be.

It may have been a play on the whole upselling ideal (fries with a meal), however his voice is clear and the "r" in fries is unheard. He's talking about bills and Tucker is clearly a joker and that's why he mentioned the fives. It's not relevant that the 50 million is already complete, he's just joking around.

Personally I think it was fries. He had already been told what he wanted up to the 50 million Mark so to ask if he wanted fives, why??? The way he was standing was shot as if he was a waiter, the way he was holding the notepad as if taking an order, which in a sense he was, hence he said "do you want fries with that?"

He clearly says fives. Listen closely and read his lips.
In the captions of my DVD it actually says "fries" but captions aren't done by the same people anyway. Like I said, you can clearly hear and see him saying fives.
