Why'd you feel Ryan was douchebag? I thought he was quite capable soldier who found the rescue mission just as stupid as the others did. There was a long and dangerous road back and agreeing to return immediately would have risked his own team.

Haha this movie can be understood completely by a 10 year old. The visuals are great, especially for the time. But the emotions and themes of the film are about as simple as it gets, even for a war movie. That doesn't make it bad, but it does keep it from being great.

It's ok sweety. Some day an adult will explain the movie to you. Until then you can just sit there and watch the neat explosions.
