I may have been sleepy when I watched this movie on-demand, but if it takes place in England, why was the car's speed given in mph instead of kph, and so onlike some things seemed american, some seemed EnglishI could be wrongit was late at night
Just wondering if there was any purpose in it
Also, I thought the ending was really weakI wish they had had a flashback to him as a boy hanging in the tree or something that would have at least showed some kind of twist or parallelism or something
oh well

I thought the ending was fine. It brought the story to a close unlike a lot of stupid endings. The parallel is that he just let himself go in the end, even if that means he's going to die. He fought hard both times but in the end it was just too hard to keep holding on.
No reason to see the actual act of him falling from the tree, the mental imagery from his words is strong enough.

A quick google search would have revealed that MPH is the prominent measurement of speed in the UK.

The UK uses a mix of systems of measurement. It is NOT unfamiliar to see MPH of temps given in Fahrenheit in England.

Yeah, that would have been goodI just want to know how the dang car got into the tree. If she was driving and it ended up in the tree, how did he get any of her blood and hence a crystal for his collection? Also, where did he "pass" the crystal? In the woods? The wheels were still spinning on the wrecked car when he walked up. That whole part needs to be explained to me. I like the movie, though.
