Of the man and woman embracing and the skeleton grasping the woman's skirt/dress, what's it called and who is it by?

I am not sure if this is any help but there was a 'phase' of such images bearing the same set of poses and all were named as 'Death and the Maiden', each one having said subject matter. So it is probably best to google 'Death and the Maiden' and after some browsing of the more famous ones you should find it.

I'm pretty sure it was made for the film (probably by the same guy who drew the pictures; the owner of the left hand in that one scene). The man in the painting looked exactly like Steven, and had the outfit he wore at his job.
