It's a mix of Kratom and nostalgia-as-a-drug. Definitely shades of medicinal cannabis in there, too. But I think it's much heavier on the Kratom side than pot. They already covered pot a few times.

Actually member berries are a spoof of Kratom, which was just banned by the government, which gives a mild high,and it sucks because it's useful as a alternate to maryjane.

I think the Member Berries are a pretty good spoof on cannabis legalization; definitely one of my more favorite entities within SP. Hopefully they don't wear it out.
