I'm watching the Golden Globes pre-show on NBC, and Jenna Bush - daughter of former president George W. Bush - is one of the hosts. She is interviewing all these die-hard liberal celebs on the red carpet. And my goodness, do all of them practically fall over themselves to suck up to her! From ultra liberal Sting and his wife, to all these other die-hard Hollywood liberals - they are going out of their way to suck up to her and act like they are all so cool with her. When many of them have bashed her father in the past.

Well, let's hope a LOT of black actors win tonight so they can pay themselves on the back.
Are the wins earned? Who cares! Just as long as they appear 'diverse'.

LOL James You are such a smart-aleck!
I do find it funny that Hollywood blames 'racist America' for so few Black winners of awards, such as the Oscars, when it is THEY who do all the nominating and voting! Redneck, racist middle America doesn't get a vote, yet it is to blame for so few minority winners. Go figure.
Facts are not liberals strong suit. Rhetoric is. Thomas Sowell

That's the only mini-series I have seen this year, the OJ one. Nice to see Sarah Paulson win.

and in the reverse, Hugh Laurie won over Sterling K. Brown - which I also think is a sham!! I LOVED LOVED LOVED Sterling in OJ Simpson series, and I was rooting for him to win tonight. But he won the Emmy several months back for that role - which I was ecstatic about, so I'm good with that

well, Tracee Ellis Ross just won for "Blackish" for best actress in a tv show. Which I think is a sham. Not because she is black, but I just don't see how she was the best of the nominees. She is annoying to me, and that has nothing to do with her race (and she is only popular because she is Diana Ross' daughter). Personally, I would have gone with Julia Louis Dreyfus for Veep to win in this category.

Oh, those Hollywood folk are so authentic and real. Just like Hester!
I sure hope plenty of black people were nominated (and win!) or else this awards show is racist. I would say at least 76% of the nominees should be black and 100% of them win, even if they are competing against one another in the same categories. That means they better give out multiples Golden Globes.
Have Al Sharpton's jet on standby, ready to go at a moment's notice!
