Dr. Tom Sowell has a great article on immigration. It's called 'Immigration Sophistry'. It's from April, 2013. Like all of his essays, it's filled with no-nonsense, common sense.
He talks about how merely using the word "illegal" is mean-spirited and even racist. If an American citizen does something illegal, no one worries that he has to live in fear "in the shadows". No "sanctuary cities" for shoplifters! lol
If any of the illegals currently heading home want to come back, I'm all for it IF they return legally. Get a green card (at least)!
