Bella, Max, Bernie and Honey really are wonderful supportive friends. Add Spike to the mix for a bit of quirkiness and we know that William is already a fortunate man, even before he meets Anna.

bella was just having a bit of fun. She wanted anna to feel at ease with them. She liked Anna. Anna wasn't lying, she said the guinea fowl was the best she had ever tasted - if she's a vegetarian that was probably the truth, since she has probably never eaten any other guinea fowl. it was a clever way for anna to be polite without lying, It was obvious that he wanted anna to like his food, you could tell by the anxious expression on his face, and bella appreciated Anna's tactfulness.

True. I just never got what Bella was doing calling her out saying she'd wait till she left before telling them she's a vegetarian. Since Anna told her that earlier, then right after told him it was the best she'd ever tasted, I can't tell if she was just messing with her, kind of including her in their circle, or if she was calling her out for lying to her husband. Still can't tell if it was a good or bad call out.
