By the end of the the film I got the feeling that Tracy will be successful but it will be at a cost for her. Her overly ambitious personality is a bit of a turnoff to many people which means she will likely never have many friends or a partner/husband or kids. There are many people like this that are successful but at the end of the day come home to a lonely one bedroom apartment.
Your thoughts?

Why do people post crap like this? Unless you've conducted polls of people "like this" - which I severely doubt - whose replies to your questions indicated how lonely and remorseful they are for being so wrapped up in their tunnel vision, then all we have here is either A) What you would like to believe to be true or B) projection on your part because YOU were once like this and are now sad and lonely. And even THAT wouldn't probe anything, based on your case alone.
IDK if this is indicative of the way you think, or an anomaly within the way you really see the world, but the smugness of posts like this pisses me off.

I always thought an interesting sequel could be a scenario where Tracy has a daughter like Tammy. Tracy seems like the type who would try to micromanage her kids (To the point of venturing into emotional abuse.) and as a result they would either follow through and repeat the same thing but then may eventually manifest into alcoholism or a xanax addiction in adulthood themselves or completely rebel and become somewhat of a moody and resentful individual who wants nothing to do with success seeing how it made his/her parents monsters.

I think your overall evaluation is totally wrong man. Yes, "many people like this that are successful but at the end of the day come home to a lonely one bedroom apartment", this is absolutely true to a small extent. But many more people like Tracy will find a husband just like them (which means they may be a a-hole but will also be very successful), and drive home at the end of the day which their co-workers kissed their rears all day in a luxury car to a 4,000 sq. ft. house, and have a baby or two which you raise but the grandparents are always there take care of the whenever you want to go on vacation or relax a weekend with no changing of diapers. It may be good for the world, it may be bad for the world, but like it or not that is the way it works out for most people like Tracy.
