I had the hots for Miss Hewitt about the time just before I discovered she got hitched so this movie happened to be in my dvd collection. As a sequel is was fine, nothing fantastic. But I re watched it again and found it to be quiet enjoyable. I could not recall the ending, so I was surprised. Same plot without trying to discover who the killer is. But the group didn;t have the time to do this as they were too busy running for their lives. The locales and climate feeling in the movie is breathtaking. Nice comic dialogue delivery especially from Mekhi. What I admire is that at least there was a way of explaining how the fisherman ended up on the island. Unlike 'jaws 4' that couldn't make anything believable.
