Thanks Nzer ,that makes perfect sense ,I think in the Matrix ,the Architect felt 1999 would make sense,a safe spot for the humans plugged in to not assume something else. I mean he could of made it the Stone Age inside the matrix ,but the plugged in humans really would of thought something was ****ed up and reject the programming.
