If you spend more than a day or two in any Arab country, you'll find that people follow any statement about the future with "inshallah", which basically means" if God wills it". Spend more than a few weeks there and you'll probably find yourself doing it too. It doesn't necessarily mean you've converted to Islam, or even that you're religious.

Yes, it was a mission from CIA. If I remember correctly, they wanted to "use" the Muslims for another mission but something happened, the CIA returned home and the Muslims were left for dead.
