However, it was the U.S. government that did everything in its power to protect them. European immigrants kept approaching on their land. Then again, those vast amounts of land they (the Indians) occupied went unused. They were not meant for it. The only solution to the European's stealing their land, was to put the native Americans onto reservations, in order to preserve them. It wasn't genocide. The millions that died, were killed from germs the Europeans brought with them to North (and South) America.

I love curds, especially when they are very fresh! They squeak when you chew them.
