I've watched this movie over 30 times. Twice in the theaters when it came out.
That guy in the YouTube video is lying. Jack wasn't diagnosed with testicular cancer. The ER doctor didn't prescribe him sleeping meds because Jack was acting like a junkie. He was trembling in front of the doctor. The camera focuses on the doctor noticing Jack trembling.
Tyler was going to various different types of support groups. Marla even said that she saw him in all those other different groups in the scene where Tyler is negotiating with Marla about splitting up the groups so that he doesn't see her because he can't cry if another faker is present.
Jack might have had DID disorder but that was never established for a fact in the film.
Another bullahit theory from that Youtuber… Marla wasn't real.
Marla was real because why would Jack be having sex thinking he was Tyler having sex with Marla?

I watched it recently and it didn't age well. I say age well assuming you first saw it as an edgy teen. If you watched as an adult you already knew it was ****.
