Is beep hilarious! I love this movie but most of my favorite parts was when his character was being sarcastic, he just did an excellent job and I am not a travolta fan but I loved him in this. Funniest lines:
"Nah, I'm just here to kick ass, sleep till noon"
"You cover up your weaknesses by insulting the more higher ranking robust individuals around you, how does that sound?"
"Very good, robust even"
"What are you doing here yardley? Shouldn't you be out night stickin the coloured folk?"
"I thought you was White?"
"I'm both, skunked yah"
"This looks like the work of 10 chimpanzes."
"Well you just missed the other nine, they got bored and went for a beer"
"Grotesque wounds huh?"
"I'll show you mine if you show me yours"
"You're very cute when I'm mad at you"
"I feel queezy"
"Well hop on I'll burp ya"
"Do you have business there agent sunhill?"
"Yes I do and this my father"
Hilarious! Love that character. love this movie.

My three favorites (all in the same scene no less!!) are:

I was busy killing somebody else. I didn't have time to kill two people.

(I'm going from memory) - That's Hal. He's a good man, but don't say anything about his hair
Why not?
He doesn't have any

(a few seconds later and in a loud voice) Hey Hal, shouldn't you be wearing a hat?
Also a good runner up is when Sunhill said she would rather be a murder suspect, than to go on a date with Brenner.

The movie was so badly written, and so poorly described anything to do with the military, that almost every line by every character was hilarious.

When he finds Elizabeth Campbells home made videos"ten bucks says these aren't the lost 'Honeymooners' episodes!"
When they're joking about their alibi's for the murder "I was busy killin someone else I didn't have time to kill two people".
Your's sincerely, General Joseph Liebgott

His character was very similar to that depicted in the book and I think John Travolta had that natural swagger and bravado to carry the role perfectly.
"My father was a drunk, a gambler and a womanizer. I worshipped him."
