My three favorites (all in the same scene no less!!) are:

• I was busy killing somebody else. I didn't have time to kill two people.
• (I'm going from memory) - That's Hal. He's a good man, but don't say anything about his hair

• (a few seconds later and in a loud voice) Hey Hal, shouldn't you be wearing a hat?
  Also a good runner up is when Sunhill said she would rather be a murder suspect, than to go on a date with Brenner.

The movie was so badly written, and so poorly described anything to do with the military, that almost every line by every character was hilarious.

When he finds Elizabeth Campbells home made videos"ten bucks says these aren't the lost 'Honeymooners' episodes!"
When they're joking about their alibi's for the murder "I was busy killin someone else I didn't have time to kill two people".

His character was very similar to that depicted in the book and I think John Travolta had that natural swagger and bravado to carry the role perfectly.
