Wow, what a surprise!
The original was just mediocre & lame so I wasn't really expecting much from this, but damn - it was actually decent! Predictable and cheesy, sure, but hell, it was entertaining and gory. The acting's pretty decent too.
Definitely one of the better entries for sure. This should have been the original!

I don't think it is bad either. Certainly more worthy of a 3.9 rating. It isn't quite the best of the series, but it definitely isn't the worst. I like all of the Children of the Corn movies and this is one of the better ones.

Just watching this again years later. I actually thought it was pretty decent. Even if the ending isn't too great.

I am glad you liked it. It was my 6th favorite, out of the whole "Children of the Corn" series, but that's in my opinion.
