I always found the first film to be boring and forgettable. As a kid, I could never get through it. This one, while not a "good" film, is at least more entertaining. It's definitely a guilty pleasure of mine.

The first film was much better; Goodman and Moranis were excellent casting choices for Fred and Barney (only one I thought was bad was Rosie O'Donnell as Betty, so that's a plus I'll give this one). As a whole though, I thought this film was just not that good, and the character of Gazoo was just annoying.
The first film wasn't perfect, but I'll take it over this film any time.

freds character was terrible he soundef nothing like the last movie at all. they should of used the original characters from last movie.
