One of the interesting choices the film makers did was to have Richard Roundtree play Shaft, the role he originated. Sam Jackson plays Shaft's nephew. Why didn't they call it Shaft's Nephew? LOL. Also instead of retreading the plot of the first film (rescuing a gangster's daughter), they simply put him on another case. Simple and brilliant. Entire cast was wonderful, although I had trouble with Jeffrey Wright's accent. This should have been a better received movie by the public. And incidentally, Jackson is head and shoulders above Will Smith. I hate Will Smith's Oscar begging.
There is no "off" position on the genius switch.

More like stupid.
The Italian characters in the movie don't say "bro," yet the white Wade character does.
Impossible.
Add to that the Wade is one who denies his racism. Nonsense. Racists who do hate crimes plead guilty.
