Overall, its really not a good movie. You have Kim Basinger who was so terrible but she's good in other movies like LA Confidential; The guy from NYPD blue who plays the usual type cast role, the guy with one big eye and one small one trying to talk with an american accent, and the drugged out mom who doesn't seem to care about cody.
This movie is so bad its actually good and funny.
why everything that's supposed to be bad Makes me feel so good

The lowest-rated movie based on imdb ratings that I've watched is
Unspeakable
(2002) with a current rating of 2.6. My reasoning was it couldn't be that bad with Dennis Hopper. My reasoning went down the drain. Don't even think about it!
I voluntarily subjected myself to BTC despite its current imdb rating of 4.8 and 1 star from the cable listing because this horror thriller, a genre I like, is available on cable and I have space on my DVR.
Well, the imdb score did not lie and I just found another reason to dislike the director, Charles 'Chuck' Russell. I just checked his credits and he was responsible for Jim Carrey's
The Mask
(1994), a movie I couldn't stand.
Billy Wilder Page, Play the Movie Smiley Game
